Our goal for students this year, is to move them forward in their academic growth in a safe and welcoming environment. We take pride in academic excellence, inclusivity, celebrating diversity and respect for ourselves and others. Our staff excels in planning and implementing programs that are grounded in the Ontario curriculum and encompass a wide variety of student needs. We are all proud to be part of the excellence that is part of the Raven community.

- The school day will run from 8:50AM -3:10 PM, with two nutrition breaks. Supervision on the yard does not commence until 8:35. Students are not to arrive or be dropped off prior to this time.
- Late students will proceed to the office to sign-in.
- Students being dropped off by bus will head directly to the playground.
- Pick-up and end of day – students will be dismissed at 3:10PM. We ask that all students proceed directly to their designated pick-up area, bus line, or home.
Safe Arrival
Our elementary students are part of the Safe Arrival program (BP 6810-D). An elementary child’s absence must be reported by contacting the school at 519-395-2651 before 8:50 am or by sending a text to 519-372-7155, or let the school know in advance of the absence with a note. Always make sure that the school has current phone numbers for home, work and cell as well as emergency contacts. If your child’s absence is not reported, the school will call contacts to ensure your child is safe. As this takes a significant amount of time it is extremely helpful if you let the school know your child will be away. If we cannot reach any contacts and your child has not been reported absent, we may do a wellness check on your child.
